Infinity Maps is an original composition for the film,
a 75-minute series of interlocking pieces
for multiple layers of string instruments, flute, percussion
and environmental sounds.
The music is based on the resonant frequency of the earth,
which Tesla discovered in 1900. The frequencies are all
mathematically-related according to the same principles of
resonance, vibration and harmonics that Tesla was applying
in his research and experiments. The instruments are
also playing in an ‘acoustically true’ tuning, a principle of
resonance as it is found everywhere in the natural world.
